چکیده
B type natriuretic peptide (BNP) has emerged as a central signaling molecule in itch transduction, first identified this context neurotransmitter the nervous system, but lately also epidermal compartment paracrine mediator. Pruritus is most common symptom dermatology and especially chronic inflammatory skin diseases such atopic dermatitis, prurigo nodularis psoriasis, where BNP levels have been reported to be increased. Its action on nerves increasingly well documented, little known about its effect immune cells skin. Specifically, Langerhans (LCs), sole professional antigen presenting cell population steady state epidermis, not investigated. As LCs are commonly found associated with nerve endings our current experiments we aimed at uncovering of human monocyte-derived using RNASeq. Our previous results showed that express receptor NPR1, activation stimulates expression CD207 (Langerin) these cells. RNASeq analysis treated relatively few biological processes were upregulated (Positive regulation T activation, Cytokine-cytokine interaction, Dendritic spine, Calcium channel complex, Regulation tolerance), only one was downregulated (Cell-cell junction organization). We contrasted activated by TLR7/8 synthetic agonist CL075, which more profile (upregulated pathways: IL-4 IL-13 signaling, IL-10 signaling; Macrophage migration, spine). Based might counterbalance classical stimuli.

Clinical applications of B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) testing.
Many claims have been made in recent years regarding the utility of plasma B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) concentration measurements in the diagnosis, risk stratification and monitoring of patients with heart failure. This paper summarizes the current evidence and provides guidance for practising clinicians. Overall, plasma BNP testing appears to be of most value in the diagnostic arena, wher...

B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) is a peptide hormone of myocardial origin with significant cardioprotective properties. Patients with myocardial ischemia present with high levels of BNP in plasma and elevated expression in the myocardium. However, the molecular mechanisms of BNP induction in the ischemic myocardium are not well understood. The aim of the investigation was to assess whether myo...

BACKGROUND This study was undertaken to identify factors correlating with plasma levels of B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) and its N-terminal portion (NTpro BNP) in the acute phase of Kawasaki disease (KD). METHODS This study included 91 patients with KD treated at a hospital affiliated to Hamamatsu University School of Medicine between October 2003 and June 2011. We quantified BNP and NT-pr...
متن کامل[B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) in the outpatient clinic--usefulness and pitfalls].
B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) is an established biomarker for the differentiation of acute dyspnoea in the emergency department. However, evidence for BNP testing in outpatients is less strong. BNP is not a global test to detect cardiac abnormalities and is only helpful in a few clearly defined clinical settings. Similarly to its use in emergency department patients, BNP is useful in outpati...
